WATCH! A 200-year-old tree gets hit by lightning

A Lightning strike splits a tree in half! Monday, in Big Bear which is located in the San Bernardino Mountains of southern California, a tree went up in flames after it was struck by lightning. The U.S. Forest Service says the tree was a 200-year-old Jeffery pine tree.

The Forest Service has been busy putting out fires in several other trees damaged by lightning over the past couple of nights.
