FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A Fort Wayne woman faces multiple charges after police say she drove the wrong way onto I-69, causing a crash with a semi that disrupted traffic for six hours Tuesday evening.

An investigator with Indiana State police determined that at 8:45 p.m., Krista K. Stefanek, 48, drove the wrong-way onto the southbound lanes of I-69 at the Goshen Road/U.S. 30 interchange. Her Honda drove into the path of an oncoming semi. The semi driver was unable to avoid hitting the Honda, causing his rig to jack-knife and block two lanes.
