FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)- Fort Wayne Police are looking for the suspect in an overnight shooting that left two injured, one of whom is in critical condition, according to police.

Fort Wayne Police tell WANE 15 officers were called to the 1500 block of Goshen Avenue for gunfire reportedly being exchanged around 2:30 Saturday morning. That’s in the Gateway Plaza. When officers arrived they found two people had been shot.

Medics took a man in critical condition to a hospital. A woman who was shot suffered less severe injuries, police said.

Whoever was responsible left the scene, according to police.

Police are questioning people inside Break & Run if they heard or saw anything. A portion of the parking lot outside of Gateway Plaza could be seen cordoned off with police tape.

A suspect description or any other information has not been released.
