(CBS) In most states, November 15 may not hold much significance, but in Michigan that’s not the case. Since 1968 the date has marked the start of deer hunting season.
But in recent years, the number of hunters has dropped steadily and a proposal to change the start date as a means to stop the slide has been proposed.
