FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Fort Wayne police are looking for a 78-year-old woman who police say is missing and endangered.

According to a public safety alert sent out at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, police are searching for Karen Jenkins. She is described by police as 5 feet 3 inches tall, 100 pounds, with short silver hair and brown eyes.

Jenkins is missing from Fort Wayne and was last seen in Columbia City around 2 a.m. Tuesday, FWPD said in a release, driving a gray 2017 Buick LaCrosse with the license plate 999ADT.

A Silver Alert was also issued for Jenkins.
