ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – The Allen County Sheriff’s Department sent out an alert Sunday evening to avoid the area of SR 37 & Cuba Road in northeast Allen County.

The alert says police are working two crashes in the area.

According to an officer with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, the first crash happened near SR 37 & Cuba Road around 6:35 p.m. A vehicle crashed into a buggy and the horse pulling it got loose.

The second crash happened near SR 37 & Barnett Road around 6:40 p.m. The horse that took off from the first crash was hit by another vehicle.

Police say nobody was seriously injured in either crash.
