FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Two men were found dead at a home located minutes from Glenbrook Square Mall early Friday morning.

Fort Wayne Police tell WANE 15 that the deaths are suspicious and “don’t appear to be natural.”

Just before 2:30 a.m., police responded to the 700 block of Cumberland Avenue on reports of a person down in a garage. When officers arrived, they found two adult male victims in the house. They were both declared dead at the scene.

“It’s just shocking and sad. I really just hope there’s justice for the victims,” said Jeremy Miller, a neighbor.

Detectives, police, the Fort Wayne crime scene unit and patrol officers spent Friday morning investigating the scene, trying to piece together what happened. WANE 15 had a crew there who witnessed investigators looking around the perimeter of the yard and collecting what appeared to be evidence from the house.

FWPD said they currently do not have any additional details to release.

The identities of the two men will be revealed at a later time by the Allen County Coroner’s Office, along with the cause of death. SEE UPDATE
