Yogi Ferrell hosts camp in Bluffton

BLUFFTON, Ind. (WANE) – How did Yogi Ferrell find himself in – of all places – Bluffton?

Well the short story is that the former Hoosier and current member of the Dallas Mavericks connected with a local author about a children’s book he’s hoping to publish. The camp at Bluffton is just a bonus for Ferrell.

The former Hoosiers guard agreed to a new 2-year, $5.3 million contract with the Mavericks on Thursday.

The release on the book is still to be determined but like Yogi’s own story there is a happy ending.
