NOTRE DAME, Indiana – Brandon Wimbush went 19-for-33 for 341 yards and two touchdowns and Drue Tranquill led the team with nine tackles, a sack and a tackle for loss as the Irish offense prevailed 47-44 over the defense in the 89th annual Blue-Gold Game at Notre Dame Stadium (31,729).

Plays of the Game

  • Ian Book (Blue) connected with Chase Claypool on an 85-yard touchdown to open the scoring for the offense (10:45 of the first quarter).
