It officially feels like baseball season – even if it feels very cold to the TinCaps players.
The team arrived in town late on Sunday night from their spring training home in Arizona.
Nineteen-year-old MacKenzie Gore is with the TinCaps to start this season. Manager Anthony Contreras said the 3rd overall pick in the MLB Draft by the San Diego Padres is dealing with some blister issues and will be the No. 6 starter in their rotation.
This is the 10th season of TinCaps baseball.
They open the season against Lake County on Thursday night and WANE-TV will be there.
