MONROE, Ind. (WANE) – The lights at “The Airstrip” will light up the Monroe sky for one last Friday night as the Adams Central football team prepares to host Pioneer in the Flying Jets’ first semi-state game since 2005.

(12-1) Adams Central won their first regional championship in over a decade with a 23-7 victory over Southwood last week.

This week the Jets will face an undefeated Pioneer team that defeated top ranked Lafayette Central Catholic 28-27 in the regional championship game. The Panthers are averaging more than 49 points per game throughout this season.
