Mad Ants guard Hornbeak suspended for drug violation

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Mad Ants guard Je'lon Hornbeak has been suspended five games without pay for violating the terms of the G League's anti-drug program.

Hornbeak's suspension will begin Wednesday when the Mad Ants travel to the Lakeland Magic.

Hornbeak is in his second season with the Ants. In 19 games this year he is averaging 4.2 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.

A six-foot-three guard, he played college ball at Monmouth and Oklahoma.

The Mad Ants released guard Tra-Deon Hollins last week for a reported drug violation as well.
