They were knocked out of the playoffs on Tuesday night in the Eastern Conference semifinals by the Erie BayHawks 119-116 at the Coliseum.

DeQuan Jones won both the G League slam dunk title and was honored as the league’s Most Improved Player.

Walter Lemon Jr. was the G League Player of the Month in November and received a call-up to the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans, while Trey McKinney Jones received a call-up to the Pacers.

Alex Poythress signed a deal with the Pacers while the Mad Ants also helped improve the skills of Pacers Ike Anigbogu, TJ Leaf, and Glenn Robinson III who all spent time in Fort Wayne.

The contracts of head coach Steve Gansey and general manager Brian Levy are up this summer, and Levy said on Friday he’s received nothing but positive feedback from the Pacers.

President Tim Bawmann noted the Mad Ants attedence was up 10 percent this season and that the Ants were 6th-best in the league in fans per game.
