Norwell grad VanMeter crushes 3 home runs at Toledo

Norwell graduate Josh VanMeter slammed three home runs – including a grand slam – for the Louisville Bats in a15-4 win at the Toledo Mudhens on Monday night.

VanMeter was 4-for-5 with 8 RBI. The eight RBI tie the Louisville single game record set back in 1987 by Mark Dougherty.

VanMeter now has 11 home runs and 28 RBI on the season – both tops in the International League. He’s also hitting .370.
