The former North Side standout announced his decision on Friday at St. Paul Lutheran School in Fort Wayne. He chose the Wildcats over Indiana, Michigan State and North Carolina.
Brooks Jr transferred to La Lumiere for his senior season to be better prepared for this transition to the collegiate level. He will continue his academic and athletic career at Kentucky.
In the last 10 years, 26 different players were selected in the first round of the NBA Draft. Head coach John Calipari certainly has a blueprint to make a jump to the pros.
