Football fans awaiting the inaugural season of the Blue Bombers in Fort Wayne will reportedly have to wait a bit longer than originally thought.
According to reports out of other cities with National Gridiron League franchises, the league is cutting the schedule from 16 games to 12. That means season openers will no longer be set for late March or early April but rather for early May.
The Blue Bombers were slated to open their first season on the road at the Mississippi Mudcats on April 6. Their first home game was set for April 13 against the Kansas Kapitals.
