The Komets announced Tuesday that two forwards, Reid Jackman and Michael Stenerson, have agreed to terms and have been added to the roster.  In addition, Marco Roy has been loaned to the Laval Rocket of the AHL and Quinton Lisoway has been placed on waivers.

Jackman, 25, finished a four-year juniors career in 2012-13 and recently completed a five-year collegiate stint with York University in the OUA (Ontario University Athletics).  Jackman, a native of Etobicoke, Ontario helped the Lions to a OUA championship in 2017.  The 6-foot-3, 215-pound skater led York this season with 15 goals and ranked second with 30 points in 26 games.

Stenerson, 25, capped a three-year juniors stint with Surrey winning the 2013 BCHL (British Columbia Hockey League) championship alongside Komet forward Brady Shaw. Stenerson ranked second to Shaw during the 2012-13 season with the Eagles scoring 19 goals and 54 points.  This season the Surrey, British Columbia native completed his college career appearing in 20 CWUAA games with the University of British Columbia amassing five goals and 13 points.

Roy has been loaned to the AHL’s Laval Rocket. This is the forward’s fourth call-up to the AHL this season, second to Laval.  Roy has also been called up by the Chicago Wolves twice previously. Roy has 12 goals and 26 points in 28 games this season with Fort Wayne.

Lisoway started the season with Rapid City and Wichita before being traded to Fort Wayne on Jan. 30.  The forward appeared in six games with the Komets scoring a goal and two points.
