Komets fall at Rapid City 4-2 on Friday night


The Komets led 2-0 in the first period but gave up four unanswered goals to fall 4-2 at Rapid City on Friday night.

Justin Hodgman power play goal and Jason Binkley’s short-handed goal gave the Komets a 2-0 lead less than 10 minutes in the game. But Rapid City scored two in the first and two in the third to pull out a win.

Kyle Hayton stopped 27-of-30 shots in goal for the Komets.

The Komets and Rapid City play again tomorrow night at 9:05 p.m. in South Dakota.
