The Komets announced today that goaltender Zach Fucale has been reassigned to Fort Wayne from the AHL’s Chicago Wolves by the Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL.

Fucale started the season with Fort Wayne and appeared in four games (1-3-0) before getting reassigned to Chicago. The netminder served five games as backup goaltender during his brief stay with the Wolves since his call-up on Oct. 29.

The Komets will skate two games this weekend.  Friday the Komets face the Cyclones at Cincinnati at 7:35pm before traveling to Toledo for a 7:15pm start Saturday against the Walleye.

Komets home for Thanksgiving— The Komets next home date is the Bob Chase Memorial Thanksgiving Game on Nov. 22 when the Brampton Beast visit for a 7:30pm holiday match. It will be the 58th Fort Wayne home Thanksgiving game (36-17-2-2).  Donations will also be taken for Bob’s favorite charity, the WOWO Penney Pitch, at the game.
