Komets win in physical playoff preview with Cyclones

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – If this is a sign of what’s to come, you better get the ice packs ready. 

The Komets beat Cincinnati on Sunday night in a physical game, 6-3. These two teams will meet up again in the opening round of the ECHL Playoffs on Saturday and Sunday from Memorial Coliseum. 

Shawn Szydlowski earned the points title for the league. 

As voted on my the Komets players, Gabriel Desjardins was named team MVP.
