TOLEDO, Ohio (WANE) – The Komets kryptonite is almost no more.

Fort Wayne earned the 4-1 win over Toledo in Game 5 on the road. They have the opportunity to clinch the series at home on Tuesday in Game 6.

It was the first game of the series that the Komets did not trail at any point during the game.

Garrett Thompson, Gabriel Desjardins, Justin MacDonald and Bobby Shea all scored goals. Goaltender Michael Houser stopped 35 of the 36 shots he faced.
