Fredette made 13 of his 21 shots and was 6-for-11 from beyond the three-point arc for Team Fredette, which opened the second quarter on an 18-3 run.
“We got out in transition,” said Fredette of his team’s second-half surge. “Jeff (Ledbetter) was making shots. Everybody was making shots. That’s when we’re at our best…when we get a rebound and get out in transition with Jordan (Crawford) pushing it.”
Ledbetter made five of his eight three-pointers and finished with 17 points in the win for Team Fredette, which outscored Fort Wayne by 31 points over the second and third quarters.
“We’re playing a really good brand of basketball,” said Fredette. “We share the ball…it’s a great opportunity.”
Julian Mavunga had 23 points in the losing effort for the Fort Wayne Champs.
