Police investigate reported shooting at downtown car wash


FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Fort Wayne police were called to a downtown car wash Thursday evening for a reported shooting.

Around 8:30 p.m., officers responded to Mike’s Carwash, 1509 South Calhoun Street, after receiving several 911 calls.

However, officers told NewsChannel 15 they located blood but were unable to find a victim. They searched for more than an hour and didn’t find any evidence of a shooting.

No other information was made available.
