DECATUR, Ind. (WANE) – Approximately 1,800 students head back to the classroom in N. Adams Community Schools.

The 2016-2017 started Wednesday at the district’s four buildings: Bellmont High School, Bellmont Middle School, Southeast Elementary and Northwest Elementary.

Students at the high school continue to take advantage of the Bellmont Early College program which guides and prepares students for education beyond high school.

District officials are also considering plans to bring all Pre-K through 12th grade students onto the campus currently occupied by the middle and high school buildings.
