Washington Monument reopens after 6-month closure due to pandemic

OPEN AGAIN: The Washington Monument in D.C. reopened to the public on Wednesday (7/14). It was closed for six months because of the coronavirus pandemic. The National Park Service says masks are required inside the monument regardless of vaccination status.
