Medical group calls for ban on baby walkers

A new study published by the American Academy of Pediatrics reveals that nearly 10,000 children under the age of 15-month sustain baby walker related injuries each year.

The leading causes of injuries were falls down stairs and falls out of the walker.

About 30 percent of injuries were concussions and skull fractures.

The group wants a ban on the product and recommends stationary activity center and old fashioned belly time.
