FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Dozens of local artists and bands are set to take part in a free musical celebration called Make Music Day. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 21st, coinciding with the summer solstice and longest day of the year.
This event first took place in France and has since expanded to 700 cities in 120 different countries. Make Music Day, presented locally by Sweetwater, WANE-TV, and several other sponsors, will feature live performances at venues all over Fort Wayne, including downtown. There will be 10 interactive tents, local food trucks on site and music from popular local bands.
One of the bands set to take center stage is Exterminate All Rational Thought. The band sat down with NewsChannel 15’s Rob Lydick on First News Sunday to talk what they’ll be playing at this year’s Make Music Day event. To watch the full interview and a performance, click on the video above.
