In just over a month, the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo will open for its next season. Ahead of opening day, the zoo needs a team of temporary workers.

It hopes to hire about 160 people to serve more than 600,000 annual guests. Job openings include guest service positions at the food concessions, gift shops, rides, front gate and more. The temporary positions range from 15 to 40 hours per week from mid-April through mid-October.

The summer job fair is Saturday, March 9 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in Franke Park Pavilion #1.

Applicants are asked to download an application in advance and bring it to the job fair as well as two forms of ID. Interviews and hiring will happen until all positions are filled or as time and capacity allows.
