Woman killed in rollover crash ID’d

Local News

Fort Wayne police are investigating after a woman crashed her car into a ditch early Wednesday morning.

The crash happened in the 1100 block of Production Road around 3:15 a.m. That’s in an industrial park just west of Lima Road and north of W. Coliseum Boulevard.

Investigators said the woman was heading east on Production Road when she went off the roadway, rolled the car, and crashed into a ditch upside down.

Police, firefighters and medics responded to the scene to help. The woman was trapped in the car unconscious and unresponsive.

She was initially listed in critical condition.

Firefighters cut open the car windshield and pulled the victim out so medics could provide emergency care.

Once the woman was out of the car, medics pronounced her dead at the scene.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 27-year-old Andreonna Kierr Milligan of Fort Wayne.

The fatal crash team responded and was investigating the crash for a few hours early Wednesday morning to get a better idea about what caused the crash.

At this time, it’s not clear what factors might have contributed to it.
