A Fort Wayne woman was arrested Thursday for 13 felony and misdemeanor charges for a December car crash that resulted in the injury of a child.
According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department, Kimberly Amber Custer, age 26, is facing seven felony charges. That includes operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level of .15 percent or more with a passenger under 18 years old, causing serious injury operating a motor vehicle under the influence of substances, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level of .08 percent with a prior conviction, and possession of methamphetamine.
Custer’s six misdemeanor charges include possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and driving wile suspended with a prior.
Custer is being held in Steuben County Jail with her bond set at $11,000. She is scheduled to appear in court for a pre-trial conference May 13.
