LOS ANGELES (WANE) — Fort Wayne’s Christiana Danielle went head-to-head with a fellow ‘The Voice’ contestant, and in an unlikely twist of fate, they both made it through to the live rounds.
Christiana sang against Terrence Cunningham in Tuesday’s knockout round.
In a usual knockout round, the two contestants sing the same song. A judge then chooses a winner, meaning the one not picked is eliminated.
After they both sang their songs, coach Alicia Keys chose Cunningham as the winner. The night was not over for Christiana just yet, though.
Keys then used her only save to keep Christiana in the competition.
Christiana also got judges Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine’s attention. The two used their steals on Christiana. After each coach pleaded their case for the Huntington University graduate to choose them, she chose to stick with Keys.
