A crash involving two vehicles early Saturday evening in Kosciusko County killed a Warsaw woman and injured three other people.
The crash took place just after 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 1000 West and 900 South near Mentone according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
Investigators believe a Ford Fusion heading west on 900 South failed to yield the right of way to a Chevy Tahoe going south on 1000 West.
The two vehicles collided and a passenger in the Fusion, Hope Steyn, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Tertius Steyn, 22, also of Warsaw suffered facial injuries and was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital.
The driver of the Tahoe suffered minor injuries, as did an infant in the vehicle. A passenger was not injured.
The crash is still under investigation.
