Vacant home catches fire on city’s east side

Firefighters were called to Reynolds Street and Coliseum Boulevard on report of a structure fire early Sunday morning.

Crews arrived to the area around 4:30 a.m. and found the back half of the structure fully involved.

Officials say the structure was a vacant home, and no one was inside at the time of the fire.

It tooks fire crews about 30 minutes to get the fire under control.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
