Two arrested after drugs found in hotel

Two people are in the LaGrange County Jail after deputies found drugs in their hotel room.

Police went to the Super 8 Hotel on State Road 9 in Howe Thursday night to investigate drug activity.  According to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department, when officers arrived at the hotel they found Kaleb Roy Nierman, 21, and Jade Lee Kramer, 22, in a car.  LaGrange County K9 Jax searched the car and alert officers to the odor of illegal drugs. 

Police searched Nierman and Kramer’s car and room at the hotel.  They found methamphetamine, marijuana, and illegal drug paraphernalia inside the room, the police report stated. 

Kramer and Nierman were arrested and booked in the LaGrange County Jail. Kramer was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. Nierman was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Paraphernalia, and Visiting a Common Nuisance.
