A 1970 Chevy Corvette Stingray will go to one lucky winner and help a nonprofit. Turnstone is raffling the classic car for its annual contest to raise money for the services for those with disabilities.
The Corvette Stingray has a rare green exterior, tan interior and a soft white convertible top. It’s also equipped with a V8 engine and factory air conditioning.
It’s expected to be on display at SweetCars off West Jefferson Boulevard. The car will also tour several upcoming car shows. Currently it’s in storage.
One raffle ticket costs $15, but anyone can get up to 40 tickets for $250. They went on sale Thursday, June 27. The winner will be drawn on October 4.
Tickets can be purchased by calling 260-483-2100 or 866-483-1278. There is also a downloadable online form here.
Turnstone hopes to collect more than 20,000 tickets in the raffle.
