Three people were arrested yesterday after leading police on a pursuit through multiple counties, while in a stolen pickup truck with drugs in their possession.

Around 7:24 p.m. on Thursday, Lagrange County Sheriffs were called to CR 700 S and State Rd 3 in Wolcottville, IN on report of a possible stolen vehicle. Responding officers spotted the Green GMC Sierra in the area, which had been reported stolen out of Bronson, Michigan.

The occupants bailed from the vehicle and ran into the woods to their south. Officers used a drone to find the three suspects who were taken into custody without further incident.

While police searched the stolen vehicle, Marijuana and Methamphetamine were located.

The suspects were identified as 27 year-old Brandon Michael Jackson of Kendallville, 27 year-old Cassandra Jean Centers of Goshen, and 18 year-old Ethan W. Gayhart of LaGrange.

All three were booked into the LaGrange County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting law enforcement, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of marijuana. Additional charges maybe be added as this matter is still under investigation.

Police are still working to determine who was actually driving the vehicle.
