A train struck a semi’s trailer at a Butler crossing Wednesday morning.
Indiana State Police said around 8:30 a.m., a train clipped the trailer of a semi in the 600 block of East Main Street in Butler. Sgt. Ron Galavis said the oversized load was crossing the tracks heading west on Main Street when an oncoming train clipped the back of the oversized semi trailer.
No injuries were reported.
The train – 2 miles long and 10,700 tons – was headed from Chicago to Windsor, Canada, Galaviz said.
