HOWE, Ind. (WANE) - A traffic stop on the Indiana Toll Road leads to the arrest of a LaGrange County man on drug charges.
Just before 12:30 Wednesday morning Indiana State Police say they pulled over a truck near the Howe Exit on the Indiana Toll Road after the truck's license plate came back as registered to a habitual traffic offender.
When police searched the truck they found numerous smoking pipes, torches, scales, and more than 10 grams of suspected meth.
39-year-old Jerry Schrimsher was taken into custody. He's being charged with felonies including Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, and being a Habitual Traffic Violator.
