With just more than two weeks until Opening Day, the Fort Wayne TinCaps are still looking to hire some seasonal positions.

The team said Tuesday it is still looking to fill 50-60 positions to fill out its staff. Most of the openings are in the Food & Beverage department.

TinCaps Management says it takes anywhere between 400 to 500 people to put on the gameday experience they are known for.

One of the most important qualifications to be a part of the TinCaps family is communication.

“Can you talk to people, do you smile, people are here with your family and friends to have a good time,” said TinCaps Vice President of Marketing Michael Limmer. “We want the people to faciliate that and be a part of that.”

The team is also looking for dependable workers.

Limmer said that the unfilled positions should not interfere with fans’ time at Parkview Field.

Opening Day for the TinCaps is Thursday, April 4.
