The Vera Bradley Annual Outlet Sale returned to Fort Wayne Wednesday for the 36th year.
What started in a 10X10-foot tent all those years ago, now takes up the entire Expo and Conference centers at Memorial Coliseum.
Last year’s sale saw nearly 45,000 guests come through the doors to check out all of the deals, and similar crowds are expected again this year.
Each year the company rolls out deals and new products for those excited and willing to face the large crowds.
You can watch video of the doors opening on Wednesday morning below.
This year, 37 trailers filled with Vera Bradley items are ready to stock and restock the tables as needed. Around 600,000 pieces of product will be available for people to browse, including 300 different patterns, more than 300 colors, and over 1,500 different styles.
One of the most anticipated aspects of this year’s sale is a new pattern called “Tropical Evening.” The pattern will launch exclusively at the sale, but won’t be in stores until May.
The 2019 sale will also feature special AOS t-shirts for $15.
The annual sale isn’t just for profit and pleasure though. It also helps some national and local charities.
There will be multiple opportunities to donate to the following charities and organizations during the designated days:
- Wednesday – Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer
- Thursday and Friday – Charis House
- Saturday and Sunday – Community Harvest Food Bank
Tickets cost $5 for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. You can buy tickets here.
Saturday and Sunday offer free admission, but require registration at checkout.
