A statewide Silver Alert for Franklin Ellsworth Dutt has been canceled. Fort Wayne Police did not release any additional information.

A statewide Silver Alert was issued Thursday night for a Fort Wayne man. Fort Wayne Police said they are investigating the disappearance of Franklin Ellsworth Dutt. Dutt is an 83 year old who was last seen at 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening in Fort Wayne.
Police believe Dutt is in extreme danger and may require medical assistance. He is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 195 pounds, with gray hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans and driving a dark green 2014 Chevy Cruz with Indiana license plate 987FTY.
