The following is a release from the Indiana Department of Transportation:

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that work is scheduled to begin on multiple pipes in DeKalb and Steuben counties on Monday, March 18, weather permitting. Work will take place on Interstate 69, between mile markers 321 and the Michigan State Line.

Drivers will see work occurring on the shoulders, in both directions as contractors remove and install new pipe liners in various locations. INDOT reminds drivers to be cautious of crews working in any active construction zone.

All work is expected to be completed by late May, weather permitting. The combined contract was awarded to Yardberry Landscaping and Excavating for $1.07 million.
