If you visit Redwood Inn Pizza at 1432 W. Main St., you will see shirts and signs that read “Stand Strong for Stephanie” on them.

Redwood Inn will host a fundraiser Saturday to help raise money for one of their long time waitresses as she starts her battle with stage 4 cervical cancer. The restaurant will sell its pizzas half off that day in hopes customers donate the other half of the cost to Stephanie Kelley and her family.

Kelley, a 36-year-old single mother of three, has been a waitress at Redwood Inn for many years.

This month, Kelley thought something felt off and she went to a clinic for a check-up. That led to an appointment with an oncologist, and a biopsy.

Kelley was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Doctors also confirmed for her that she was in the later stages of her diagnosis, stage 4.

The fundraiser hopes to raise money for Kelley’s fight.

Beyond the pizza, Saturday’s event will feature grilled wings on the Redwood Inn patio, as well as a dunk tank, a cookie sale, and T-shirts n koozies for purchase.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for donations.
