Multiple residents have been displaced after an apartment fire late Friday night.
Firefighters were called to the 5600 block of Woodshire Blvd. around 11:15 p.m. When they arrived they found smoke coming from the building.
Once they got inside they found fire in an upstairs apartment. The one person inside the residence safely evacuated.
The fire was under control within 20 minutes and the damage was contained to the one apartment. Fire officials say several other apartments were affected though, and representatives of the complex are working to find other units for the displaced residents to stay in.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
