A Fort Wayne staffing provider is making a commitment to be a part of the Electric Works campus, making it one of a dozen businesses and organizations to join the project.

Spherion Staffing, a locally owned office of the national staffing firm, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the agreement. It plans to relocate to a larger space at Electric Works from its current E. State Blvd location.

“We are experiencing an ever-increasing demand for our talented employees and our investment in state- of-the-art recruiting facilities and recruiting technologies is exciting,” said Tom Pentenburg in a news release, who co-owns the Fort Wayne office with his wife, Elizabeth. “We look forward to partnering with Electric Works to support our growth.”

Electric Works is a plan to revitalize 29 acres and 18 historic buildings at the former General Electrics plant. Other tennants that have already signed leases are Parkview Health, Fort Wayne Metals and Indiana Tech. A large rock climbing gym and Three Rivers Music Theatre are also committed to the plan.
