Multiple people are in the hospital after a car accident on I-69 northbound. The incident took place at mile marker 308.
Dispatchers were call out at about 11:30 p.m.
Police on scene report it was a two vehicle crash. Both cars were driving in the center lane when the vehicle in the rear rear-ended the front vehicle. The front vehicle crashed into the guard rail, flipped over, rolled down the hill, and landed in a ditch.
Three people were in the front vehicle and one was in the rear vehicle.
Police said everyone was able to walk away, but all four people went to the hospital.
Intoxication is thought to be a factor, but the accident is under investigation.
