Classic car lovers, Saturday is your once in a lifetime chance to see the world’s greatest collection of Hudson Automobiles.
Sixty-nine cars from the Hostetler’s Hudson Auto Museum will be up for bid. The museum closed last year.
Some of the rarest Hudson automobiles will be featured, but if you’re not looking to buy a car, you can still see the collection one last time.
“Just look around. These are truly pieces of art that people can come out and experience in a tangible way, and learn a little bit of history. It’s not just the history of the car, it’s the history of the world going on at that point and time. What was going on contextually and you get to see all these really neat things with that,” says classic car restorer, Travis LaVine.
Admission is $20, and you’ll be able to see the most expensive Hudson ever built, or the one Doc Hudson was modeled from in the movie Cars.
The auction starts at 11 a.m. at 706 S Van Buren Street in Shipshewana.
