FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne Police have asked for the public's help to find a rape suspect, whose likeness was drawn using DNA technology.
Police said Thursday that they're searching for a suspect in three sexual assault investigations that have occurred over a 2-year time-frame between September 2015 and May 2017 in southeast Fort Wayne. The department said the three assaults took place in the early morning hours, in the 4500 block of Park Drive, 5000 block of Bowser Avenue and the 5200 block of Bowser Avenue.
Using the DNA technology that assisted with the identification that lead to the apprehension of the suspect responsible the April Tinsley homicide, detectives used Parabon-Nano Labs to assist them with creating a DNA Snapshot analysis of what the suspect might look like based on his DNA.
That sketch was releaed Thursday.
