Police remind drivers to not cross closed railroad tracks following crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A driver is safe after attempting to cross a closed railroad crossing Thursday evening, according to a Fort Wayne Police Department post on Facebook.

The post goes on to say that an officer had to climb into the vehicle to save the driver. Neither were injured.

Police advise drivers not to try and cross closed tracks.

This reminder comes after several roads have been closed for railroad track repairs.
