Police find weed, Fentanyl and guns in raid; 3 arrested

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Police found drugs including Fentanyl along with handguns, cash and scales and arrested three people during a raid of a home on Fort Wayne's southeast side early Thursday.

Around 8:15 a.m, members of the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Division and the Emergency Services Team served a search warrant at a home at 3205 Queen St., just north of Oxford Street. Police said in a news release that they'd previously bought heroin from one of the residents of the home - 31-year-old Pierre Taylor.

At the home, police found 852.5 grams of marijuana and .4 grams Fentanyl, along with three semi-automatic handguns, $3,612 and multiple scales.

The residents arrested were:

  • Taylor, on three counts of Dealing Narcotics and counts of Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Marijuana Level and Maintaining a Common Nuisance
  • Tyson Hudson, 33, on charges of Dealing Marijuana, Serious Violent Felon In Possession of a Handgun, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance 
  • Iesha McCoy, 25, on a charge of Maintaining a Common Nuisance
